Vacation Planning

I am currently trying to plan this years summer vacation for our family and it is hard! Vacations are a time of relaxation, and carefree work free days. Everyone loves a good vacation! So why are they so stressful to plan?! Maybe its just me and my indecisiveness.  First, where do we go? What do we want to do this year? We had so much fun last year, what will be a different kind of fun for this year?

Last summer we took a road trip to California. The kids were so excited for this vacation! We stayed on the beach in a small town next to San Diego. We made a few stops in Los Angeles on our way to San Diego to see the hollywood sign and the walk of fame. While in San Diego we went to the San Diego Zoo and Disneyland. EDLWE2171

Next we went hiking down to the beach at Torrey Pines, and to Lajolla beach to see the famous sea lions.

I loved San Diego! On our way home we made a quick stop in Las Vegas where we took the kids to the M&M museum, around the world flavor tour at Coca-Cola, and of course the Bellagio light show! Our next stop was Moab in Utah where we hiked while taking in the GORGEOUS views!

Lastly a trip through the mountains of Colorado and we were home. Thats quite a bit to top! We had such a fun time but it was A LOT of driving and we want a slightly more relaxed vacation this year.

So where should we go? We know next year we want to visit Hawaii to renew our vows. Yellowstone national park? New York City? Cancun? A cruise? Another fun filled road trip?  Back to the gulf coast where we already know we love to vacation? We are pretty sure we’ve narrowed it down to a beach vacation. So my spastic vacation planning is in full swing. I search and search and find all these gorgeous places to go and fun things to do. How do you decide which one to choose?? This is how I am currently spending my spare time.

What are some of your favorite places to go on vacation? I’m always looking for new ideas!
